I used the Blitz in my crx for years and loved it. I tried to use the same one with the ITR radio and it did not work. Now that I see it is a different part number for the ITR I will pick one up. The original one purchased through ebay came with the rca-aux cable as well. Thanks for sharing.aw614 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 10, 2018 7:32 am Sometimes I still wish I had a powered antenna b/c I've nearly forgotten to manually move it up for my morning commutes. But for the most part I leave mine down since I use one of these with the oem radio.

Number # 940 came with a fm modulator installed by a previous owner. I have tested it. I use good old fashioned cds for the most part. I am a little behind the times. When I first got the car I didn't have a clue what it was or did. I thought it was a charger at first only. Lol

The pulley on the integra gave a minor wirr when I drove it five miles later it was rattling and shaking and stinking. No smoke. The snatchback progressed quickly but never stunk. I must admit that sound makes your stomach sink. Please don't be the bottom end was my thoughts the first time. Second time I knew exactly what it was.Wibbs wrote: ↑Fri Aug 10, 2018 2:37 amI had the same pulley fail in mine last year. Pretty spectacularly too. Started to whine, then grind then there was a clunk and a smell of burning came into the cabin. All in a few minutes. I had an anxious moment with plenty of expletives. Until I spotted what it was.Stin1 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 29, 2018 4:00 pm This thread is not in chronological order. A few weeks after purchasing the car the ac tensioner pulley bearing failed and began making nasty noises. I purchased a new one from Acura and it was of course not zinc. I kept it thinking I can press another Japanese bearing at a later date.
I could have ordered the whole pulley from Honda and it was still available in my neck of the woods. IIRC it was something like 80 quid. So more out of being a cheap so and so I removed the pulley, read the specs from the bearing and got the same size from a local engineering place and pressed it in. Job done. According to the lad in the shop the new one was of a better quality. Cost about ten quid. . As I say I'm a cheap so and so...
+1. I was tempted to go the S2000 route as I was given one for nothing, but after I fitted it I personally didn't like the look of it. Completely by chance the new antenna core I got looked identical to original and went in handily enough.I think the integra antenna compliments the body lines in my own opinion. It looks naked without it. I think the s2k one doesn't flow well with the body lines.

One of these bolts were gross . I ordered two. Acura supplied one Zinc bolt and one that was the color you see in the front. They are actually both the same color in the image. The original zinc bolt they gave me went into my hoard of hardware. I should put in a jewelry box.

It wasn't 116 degrees today and there wasn't any monsoon storms today so I went type R ing today. The code hasn't returned for the evap leak. It has gone off as early as 4 miles and as late as 250. I have no pending codes at this point. All monitors are ready except the evap system.
Re: 98-940 Anyone know anything about the caR?
This one got some road time as well.
Re: 98-940 Anyone know anything about the caR?
I don't think I ever showed these.
Re: 98-940 Anyone know anything about the caR?
So I usually like to include some tech . So here we go. My snatchback developed this strange hesitation or delay with the throttle . Otherwise the car ran fine. The idle would jump from the sound but the tach would not jump when it sounded like the idle jumped. I had no cel . I tried using a usdm ecu in the car to check for misfires. I got only the codes I was expecting. Here is what was the culprit
This is aftermarket o2 it has no white clip. The rubber o ring was expected to hold it in place. One wire was no longer connected. Surprisingly 4 ecus never gave me a o2 sensor code. I replaced this with a Nippon denso unit. I have 300 miles since and haven't experienced the issue.

Did you experience any AC cycling issues when you had that EVAP code? Mine was cycling more than usual when I had that CEL
But replacing the same part you replaced also fixed the issue I had a few years back. I never saw the engine light come on due to the EVAP and the AC stopped doing wonky things for me.

Re: 98-940 Anyone know anything about the caR?
I didn't notice any ac cycling issues. The code didn't really change anything about how the car ran that I noticed. It did seem to progress and pop up quicker. When the light would come on it stank like a fart so it was definitely leaking. I haven't smelled that smell either on the drives. All the evap lines are discontinued from Acura. I would have changed those for peace of mind. Check engine lights bug the heck out me. I am hoping I have the same luck you have with that valve . There is a tsb about that valve. It can also short the ecu causing that code to reappear again. Fingers crossed that is not the case. One of the for sale ads for this car from previous owners mentions the car getting a evap code but still passes emissions. That was 10 years ago at least. The car came with partial records and there is no record for a repair or evap code.aw614 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 12, 2018 11:22 am Did you experience any AC cycling issues when you had that EVAP code?
