Any decent 15x7 wheel options anymore?

Post by i like my R » Mon Aug 27, 2018 11:43 pm

Looking for 15x7 wheels for track use, but I do not see many options like there were back in the day. I can only seem to find Rays/Volk 15x8s, but I do not want to have to roll fenders to fit. I found some random 15x7 rally wheel options but they are usually pretty heavy.

I know about Rotas, but not interested in replica wheels. Anyone know of anything I'm missing?

There are a lot of wheels in 15x7 with lots of offset choices. Kosei are the first to come to mind.

I use Buddy Club P1 QF wheels on the track. 15x7 +35 Had to slightly trim the rear fender lip otherwise they rubbed a bit. Depends how much camber you have and how wide the tires are. Ive added a lot more camber since these pics.

Pretty cool that Buddy Club QF 15x7 +42 is still available new. I had no idea.

Are Kosei K1 still available new in 15x7 5x114.3?

Besides Rota I am interested to hear what else is still available.

TE37 15x7 +35 with 205/50/15 Re71R on stock suspension and camber. No trimming or rubbing.

If you are interested in opening yourself up to the used market, you can find 15x7 volks/ rays wheels for $1300-1800 shipped. If interested, check out Instagram.

I can't find them in 5x114.3 for sale anymore.

4x100 have it really easy for 15x7 and 15x8 thanks to Miata and E30 owners.

Yeah, it's crazy. Pre ITR (2016) when I had my GSR, all I could find is 5 lug. Now it's nothing but 4 lug....ugh.

Yep those are 205/50 71R

I was on PIC R3 10k/12k in those pics. I have since increased rates, lowered the car a bit more, added sway bars and the car doesnt compress nearly as much at full hard (huhu).

FYI the Buddy Club QF is the forged version and hard to find. The SF is the more popular wheel and easier to find. I think the SF is cast but still on the light side.
