That is another one of my hobbies. I grew up racing bmx in the 80/90s . I like 90s bmx and cars. The one on the table is an expert which I don't have all the parts for. I am almost done with its bigger brother.

with the help from fellow collectors I obtained a paint match and then converted to the original imron paint code

I put my spare ecu in the car last week. The check engine light has not came back but I am expecting it to. The cabin had the fart smell again last week and afterwards I was smelling outside the car some strange unburnt vapor/ exhaust stink as it was idling in the garage. I am thinking it's a leak but I am not sure where. Pretty much the one thing my brothers shop doesn't have is a smoke machine. I don't really trust people to touch my cars who are outside my circle of friends. I will probably look and see if oreily rents one if the code comes back which I guessing will. The purge valve isn't to far from location where the hood release cable is rerouted , resulting in a small gap at the harness / grommet . Which is my guess where the sulfur stink is coming from in the cabin. If anyone has additional insight on evap code p1457 please let me know. Today I couldn't reproduce the stinch or code. Chasing this wild goose sure sucks.

I hate p1457. I have spent a lot including smoke test, jdm p73-003 ecu and boomslang harness (both for sale) and bought a spare p73-C04 ecu from a local og ITR owner. A heck of a rare find since it is discontinued and Acura sold about 1000 ITR in Canada. 400 00 and 01 CDM R. I sent it to @jkatman on Instagram @ffchips.com to bypass the immobilizer properly. I am 98% sure my issue is my original ecu stopped sending evap signals. I ran this ecu for a while and the p1457 code did not come back. Waiting to get the ecu back in my possession. Edit: Got my p73-C04 oem ecu back with immobilizer bypass. No more CEL. Hopefully for a very long time!
Jdm p73-003 ecu (and jumper harness of 00 01)will work great on a USDM car and no more p1457.
Just wanted to comment on the ebrake button replacement. What a pita. The hardest part is getting it back on as the button is incredibly tight to thread on. There are a lot of threads to spin on to and you have to get tension on the spring. I wrapped mine in electrical tape and used vice grips a quarter turn at a time.

Got something from the the U.K thanks to acklanders thread . I contacted the seller and he included the bracket in the thread. However I think his picture below is slightly different than the bracket and different orientation than the one I I received.

Here is the bracket I received. It has some interesting U.K. Patina. I will try to resolve this with a citrus rust remover. I would prefer a original finish. I will let you know how that works out. Otherwise it has to be painted.

I don't have the original usdm purge valve bracket so this a plus 1 . This is my guess how it should go. What line is in and out I can only guess. The bracket fits perfectly on the firewall.

Looks the same as I have. The nipple facing forward goes to the IM.
Pm me if you need any more photos of how I have it setup.
