Gotcha. I did a quick search of the car inventory at my local LKQ yards and there were no 00-01 integras. None. Well, cheers to the good work. Keep the progress coming!

Dropping the car off for paint + being able to clean the garage will be a good feeling of accomplishment.

Dumb, Stubborn, and bound to end up penniless…….

Post by aklackner » Mon Jan 28, 2019 6:29 pm

So the ITR didn’t make it out to the body shop last week, but tomorrow the flat bed is coming!

While I try to fight my impatience I ordered some bits to get my custom coilovers together. Should be pretty nice but I won’t really know until I get it all together and can take it for spin.

Also managed to get a new oem left hand brake cable. The right one should come in, in a few days.

It’s been a big day! ImageImageImageImage

And more Honda parts:
Left and Right OEM hand brake lines came now. I noticed end of last week Tegiwa showed one of each in stock. Knew we can’t get them in US any more and part numbers are the same so grabbed them.

Left and Right OEM hood hinges

OEM siren kit

Cheap box of vinyl tiles is on the way (for leveling and slip plates)

I'll have to practice on my friend's S2k so I have it all dialed in by the time I get 01-386 together.

The hood is First Molding/ICB, I liked that it has a removable vent block, keeps all the clip locations for the front seal, and has a strong enough structure that it keeps the OEM hood prop without sagging on the other side. Hoping it will help keep a handle on extra heat from my JRSC.

The cowl I found on http://special-carbonfiber.com/ it’s a shop down towards San Diego. If you noticed it doesn’t have the OEM venting. The idea is to redirect where the blower is pulling air so it comes from fenders, not off the hood which in the case of a vented hood means right off the Engine. I got the idea from the Belgium pro car thread, which was a higher end custom made cowl but at least this one also keeps the wipers which other ones seemed to remove.
