Dumb, Stubborn, and bound to end up penniless…….
Re: Dumb, Stubborn, and bound to end up penniless…….
Nice would you mind sharing more pics of the siren kit?
Re: Dumb, Stubborn, and bound to end up penniless…….
The siren kit happened to be sitting next to me so here you go.
Looks pretty basic, no instructions though so let’s hope so.

Thanks! That is a bummer on the no instructions part. Have you tried asking Acura? I got a discontinued ashtray for a ek once and my Honda couldn't obtain the instructions. The seller was a dealer elsewhere and they were able to email me the PDF instructions.

Excellent updates all around.
I dig the First Molding hood. I am considering one when I repaint my front end.

Re: Dumb, Stubborn, and bound to end up penniless…….
I found a shop near me that will do the custom replacement hard lines.
I'll have to take the lines down to get a quote but here's the basic pricing guide:
$5-7/ft base tubing (based on OD)
$3-5/flare
$5/bend
So I may have been closer in my $1000 guesstimate to replace all 5 than I'd hoped, but that will get me all new stainless underbody hard lines.

Closer to $1000 with be tough on the wallet, but the quality might be worth it. I wonder if others would be interested to help reduce costs through a group buy.aklackner wrote: ↑Fri Feb 01, 2019 4:05 pm I found a shop near me that will do the custom replacement hard lines.

Re: Dumb, Stubborn, and bound to end up penniless…….
I plan to drop the old OEM lines at the shop (Orme Brothers https://ormebrothers.com/) this week, probably Tuesday.
If anyone wants a set made or just select lines, let me know I can ask about discounts if it’s more than just a set for me. Keep in mind my lines are for an ‘01 so check your part numbers, there are a surprising number of changes the the hard lines over models and years.
I’m also thinking about having an extra hard line made following the left rear brake line but as -4 to feed Water/meth. Injection from the trunk.
