Coil on Plug vs. Distributor thoughts
Re: Coil on Plug vs. Distributor thoughts
I have a friend running the Burton kit on his B16B swapped EG with a Hondata S300. It sounded like it was a direct plug and play kit and fixed some of his breaking up under load issues. The spade terminals are the only sketchy thing on the kit. It would be nice if they replaced that with an actual plug.
Re: Coil on Plug vs. Distributor thoughts
You have to solder a board to the ECU so thats not exactly plug and play.
At least they offer that service though.

Re: Coil on Plug vs. Distributor thoughts
Since I sill have the oem ecu in storage, I am ok with modifying the chipped obd1 ecu. Might even buy rockauto parts to fix the distributor and store it w/ the ecu as an oem backup if the car were ever sold. Finding an oem plug for the connectors would make this idea a plus.
