Well I have good news . Two salesmen let me peak inside. I asked my parts guy. He told me they wouldn't even let him inside the nsx. The badge number is 237. The bad news is I forgot if was 00 or 01 and the picture I took of the badge the numerical portion is ghosted out. I can probably easily get that next time . From my picture it looks like 01 mats but I really can't recall the year for certain. The salesman said the owner doesn't work there as well as the parts guy. The parts guy said the owner is friends with the dealership's owner.

It should be a 2001 if the VIN ends in 368.

The color looks to be NHBP in the photos. I’m going to go with Jay and say it’s a 2001.

I didn't get inside again but I did confirm the vin and this is correct.

I was already inside ! I wouldn't ever do that. Nice enough that it's there. I would never disrespect anyone's property , let alone a itr. This is also a dealership, they don't keep keys in cars. Maybe because someone has actually done what you are mentioning? Lol

Just to add to this one - the story goes that it was bought new by someone at Honda NZ and is still owned by them. Also the only black one apparently.
