My local Honda parts department is awesome though. 20+ year manager that allows me to just rifle off part numbers one after the other and then TELL HIM how much it is online, then he matches that. I use www.oemAcuraParts.com as my tool to load the part numbers into my cart and organize them, then give them a call! Super easy and the most affordable way to do business in a restoration. Plus, they deliver it right to my desk the following day!
Honda is making it increasingly difficult for us sadly. Friendly plug for IRUNOEM, who has sponsored Type R Expo for years. I'm a proponent for companies that are both community run and give back to their community. It's hard to beat desk delivery though. :drink:

Looks like a ukdm bracket and solenoid. Was your harness modified to accept the newer style solenoid and black connector plug? Should be old style solenoid still on 98s with gray connector plug from harness. Stock oem usdm bracket mounts higher to the right of where your vin is stamped and is a black L shaped bracket.

Nice car btw and can appreciate what you’re doing!! Also update on AC center vent, shipping from japan late July and is on order. Not Discontinued! I think we tricked the system guys

Awesome on the vent. It's a disease. Lol. I don't think that is the ukdm bracket. Here is the usdm next to the ukdm version. It's higher than his location.

Good eye. Yes, that is indeed a ukdm sensor (I removed the ukdm bracket thinking I would be able to find a USDM one. Silly me) The reason that it plugs up to my harness is because I actually have an 01 engine harness as well (all came from the same 01 donor ITR with engine)

My plans are to find a 98 ITR engine harness as well as the correct evap solenoid and bracket one day.

In the meantime, here’s some more pretty new parts to install.
