Badge # 01-1112
Was purchased April 13, 2001 from Frank Leta Acura in St. Louis Missouri. From what I understand, the original owner traded the car at a Subaru dealership. The second owner bought the car from the Subaru dealership in Missouri, before it could get to the used lot or auction. The second owner moved to Ohio where I purchased it December 29, 2014 with 109,xxx miles.

The second owner installed the JDM front, and provided all the original panels except headlights and lip spoiler at the time of the sale. Engine and transmission are stock and came with minor bolt-ons. I continue to enjoy the R and will use this thread as documentation of its existence.

This was the photo used for the sale add (credit goes to the previous owner).

10/20/2016: Purchased an absolutely clean set of OEM spring/ strut units from hmotors (reportedly with 2500 miles). They still had the perfectly painted 3 dots on the coils. While installing, a seized bolt broke off at the lower control arm. This required the whole RTA to be removed. Due to the bolt seizing to the center of the bushing, the LCA was replaced with a factory unit. While this was out, both RTA bushing were replaced with factory bushings. Alignment was completed by Acura afterwards. For my troubles, I purchased the OEM rear strut tower bar to match the front.

3/21/2017: Out of storage to be met with fresh oil and filter. New fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor with NGK #5555 spark plugs. Got a great deal on a set of Rays ce28 16x7 +48 in traditional bronze color. Also have the flat “A-caps” centers for the wheels (not pictured).

Great looking car. Love the CE28N's. Did the flat caps fit over the rear hub covers? They don't on my CE28N's but did on my RE30's even though sizing and offset are the same.

Thanks!

Nope, the rear caps did not fit without the removal of the hub covers. It would be cool if someone could 3D print a new cover. That looks like a nut that you want to keep pristine.

In preparation for the Eibach meet, the corner grills were painted with SEM trim paint.
