Thanks for that! I googled the part numbers. I am ruling out the top based on the image. Number two comes back as a plug for cruise control. That is where the cruise comes in on the firewall on other models . Thanks for your assistance. My friend even has it for me.

Hey, guys I keep seeing the wtb ads for the 97-98 purge valve. After I located the original bracket I gave up on this plan . My original solenoid tests good. I still haven't fixed my p1457 . I really haven't much effort. I replaced the lines with some universal lines since the oem units have been long discontinued. The diagnostic is like 8 pages long for that code . One of the first few steps was check the two way valve. I didn't really know where that was. Just recently figured it out. More to come on that later. This is really what I am posting here. I bought one of the uk or edm solenoids and I scored the bracket. Unsuspecting to me was the plug was the obd2b version. It was a bonus for the bracket as mine wasn't secured properly and looked terrible. I found this 2.5 Acura tl valve from a 97 that looks identical to the edm valve only it has the round plug and the purple decal. I wasn't able to find any direction on it . I tested it for about 40 miles . I never got a light . I am not guaranteeing this will work but it's a start for a alternative. ImageImageImageImage

I see the part numbers on the valves are ghosted on some. Take note on the similarities on the three as well. Original is in the picture.
