This thing is on every trim from 94-99 according to the part number.

I am pretty sure the parts car has this. I hope. It's a 97 ls. I need someone's help with a 98 to help me with where this 3 way valve third port needs to tee into when I get the needed parts. The 97 small canister is different and 2000 big vent is different. The 2000 actually doesn't even show this valve. It's attached to a "filter". Here's that diagram

this cut hose was on it. Could someone please, pretty please, with sugar on top , tell me how this 98 should work?

This is #10 IIRC it clips into one of the brackets (fuel filter) right there and seems to be a clean air intake?

The black elbow (clipped into the fuel filter bracket) is the same part on the 97 LS.
