OMG, I just geeked out so hard I may need a change of underwear. Seriously though, the Celica is awesome. Most people oogle over exotic European cars but I personally would much rather see this

Haha I know the feeling. I told a friend the other day that seeing a new McLaren or Ferrari elicits barely a "eh.....cool" anymore, but if I saw my Celica on the road before I owned it, I would lose my mind out of excitement.

Honestly I do the same with ITR's though. Its people that "get it", if that makes sense.

That Celica is rad, I haven't seen one of those in years. Super cool.

Welcome! Thank you for introducing yourself. It's a great community, I have fond memories throughout the years.

Feel free to create a build thread for your car after it arrives. I'm sure many would enjoy following or learn from your import experience.

Thank you, will do. It's going to be a long 2 months waiting for this thing, while looking at cool parts for hours a day.

If you are anything like me, I had boxes prior to my first DC2 arriving in 2004. Even today, I have boxes of projects to-do, delayed by life, work, and COVID. This is all part of the hobby. You will get the car soon enough and start running through the car and enjoying it.

Thank you. It's truly one of the funnest cars Ive ever owned and made me feel comfortable picking up another RHD car in the ITR since it seems pretty natural now. I can even knock out an entire day of driving and not confuse the wipers and turn signals anymore, haha.

Wipers, turn signals, radio, & answering cell phone, all threw me off my first time.

Love the Celica! Have always wanted an ST165 or ST185 GT-Four or the US All-Trac Turbo. Came close to buying an ST165 twice in the past and still regret passing on the first one. I'd sell one of my ITRs for a good one.

Welcome, Idaho is a nice area.
