Re: Need help to resolve wheel hop issue

The violence on the first attempt is unexpected. . Solid advice if this is a drag racing situation. If so a stiffer spring or stiffer settings on the shocks for the rear will reduce wheel hop . These settings are obviously not going to work for a circuit. The fwd Honda forced induction class cars have huge metal plates for the front to keep them down .aw614 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 10:47 pmThe one day I decided to drive on a prepped drag strip surface I did on my Integra But I've always had better luck consistently launching n/a 4 cylinders...Stin1 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 5:14 pm Do you experience this on regular surface roads or track only? From my experience I can perfect a street launch on a few tries, with a track it varies every time. I never get wheel hop on the street , on a track I expect it . I also don’t have a ctr and can’t get wheel hop having the clutch up either.
OP, Have you also tried slipping the clutch more while you launch it? And what RPM do you launch from? It might be smoother if you can launch at a lower RPM like 3k or so too
