Brown plug goes to the stop valve. This is a big valve evap system. The same concept except it is offset like the 98 .

If you check out the photo the bracket bolts to the top of the frame rail for it.

That’s the thing that bracket doesn’t fit on the evap canister that I need. It’s to small to put on.

Makes sense. Check the part numbers on the 2000 and 98 . I am guessing that they don’t match. You probably just need the 00 bracket for the canister. The 98 is the same part number as any other model for the canister and bracket.

Yea I’m gonna have to go to Acura and see if they can offer me a different bracket. Here’s the pic of the bracket and canister.

That first picture doesn’t slide onto the the parallel lines underneath the square?

On my sixth pic I posted (member’s pic ) . You can see the bracket you have folded over on the shock tower where the bracket that attaches to the canister. The bracket you have should slide into the other bracket.

OP - What questions do you have on properly posting images? I continue to see posts with image links instead of images.
