The BAT listing states the seller acquired the car in TX; I sold to a person in TX so its possible the intermediate owner didn't pass along the track history that I did.

Although not confirmed by an actual vin photo, but rather a photo of a crashed 98, it appears the story is leaning towards the wreck on the evening of the auction close. Hopefully someone fixes it up, but sadly the title will more then likely be branded based on what I could see.
Yes here are the pics that are floating around of the crash.
I shaved the front plate mounts when I had the car which makes it a probable match.

Oh, wow! That does look like it.
Any details on the accident?
I wonder what the insurance settlement on the car will be. He now has a confirmed value through BaT.

Wow I haven't seen the side picture.
Would be nice if the seller posted up on the auction to at least come clean about what happened.
Quite the mess. I am sure someone will repair it and we will see it again. Or maybe a part out.

Looks like it may have gotten crunched from the rear based on the bumper and then hit something up front. Damn

Totally missed the this . Very interesting for sure. The car is only worth what he insured it for. If he had regular insurance they are going to bend that dude over. Why do the pics look like they were taken with a flip phone ?
