Revisiting this thread... discovered that my 4 year old yonaka exhaust on the ugly duckling is rattling to pieces...

This makes me thing more and more about doing a series displacement update (and fun factor multiplier)...

Thinking of maybe refreshing this j32 and using a j35 crank, which apparently is a thing. Coupled with a TL LSD trans, it could be pretty fun and produce A/C without losing too much power.

The previous issues with a J-swap was weight distribution being moved in front of the axles. It's possible newer mount kits have help solved this issue though. I haven't chatted with Adam S in a while but he previously tracked a EG with a J.

While you're at it, go for the J37 crank for 3.6L displacement.

That's my goal for my J Series build.
