My hatch rattle came back
The culprit is definitely that plastic panel on the hatch just below the glass. Just not sure what to do with it yet. I'm afraid it will break if I take all the pieces off.

I think my hatch started rattling just recently, it isn't that loud, but it sounds like something is loose. I pushed something in and it seems to have disappeared, but I need to empty my car to be sure.
Im starting to think my shifter rattle might not be the heatshields...has anyone run the mfactory bushings and/or energy shift bushings? Do they typically induce more cabin rattle at the shifter? Im also using Spoon Engine mounts which supposedly are slightly stiffer than stock

Try adding some foam tape around the plastic bits and even the clips. This should make everything more snug and you won't have any metal on plastic contact. This is how I solved the same rattle on my STI hatch.
