I read though lots of reviews on line about them. People that never had to use them (make a claim) loved them, people that actually had to use them for things such as accidents damage (fixing auto or total loss payout) not so much. There were to many bad reviews regarding the important stuff, so I said nope.

Im still with State Farm. I did call to enquire about their classic car insurance. My car doesn't qualify due to not being old enough and not bing a showroom condition car. I was told if there was a total loss on the ITR id get "market value" and I know what that means
Fyi State Farm was the company offering 6k on total loss. Then when they had it on copart the reserve was exceeding $10k.

I have an agreed value/ classic car insurance through American family insurance.

My sincere rec is to have stated value, whether or not classic car coverage.

My current insurance offering is neither- so I will have to make a switch at some point for my replacement track car.

My stated value plan went up by $150 a month. Ended up switching to Hagerty. They were certainly cheaper. They also offer a 5% discount for a car club. They didn’t have ITRCA, but did state maybe it could be added.

How does the value Hagerty has your car at now differ from your previously insurer's stated value?

They gave me a price range which was I think like 35k to 40 or 45k. I met in the middle at 37k. For an extra $ 98 a year I added something else I forget what it’s called but essentially it gives me the ownership rights to the car. So I get the back and the 37k minus deductible in the event of a total loss. My previous coverage was at 25 k. I think the monthly rates were about the same as I was pay previously. I could be a little off. The integra doubled in cost. For six months it was $889. My hagerty rate was less than $200 more for a full year of coverage.
