I don't even know the brand but it works.
Like I said, any high flow jdm cat will most likely pass you on the sniffer. It will pass visually for the most part unless your tech decides to be a dick and look for an EO stamping.

That's what I did recently, so I'm always looking for easier options. But I did pass it with the comptech header, which is CARB legal.lunatictokyo wrote: ↑Wed Jun 13, 2018 1:03 am If you are in CA, it's a crap shoot because more techs are looking for EO numbers on the aftermarket cat (and other parts)and matching them to the online database. It may pass visual if your tech is lazy and it depends on the shop. I went the same shop for years without fail until last year when I had a run in with a new tech that insisted I jack up the car on site so he can verify the EO number because my car was too low. I told him to go pound sand and went to another shop that passed me without checking the EO. I actually have a legitimate carb legal cat too, but that jacking up the car part was a bit much for me.
Of course you can always find that one person that knows that one person that can pass you for a price,
But mainly I'm looking to be able to get the CEL off with a legit cat, instead of having to do some O2 sensor trickery.
What kind of CARB cat do you have?
