I wouldn't be too worried about hosting with NSXPO again.
I do know they are planning on Washington DC area but I'm not going.
RA with them was fun, but I do prefer another single ITR Expo.

That's not one we have explored, but we can look into it. It might not be a 2019 thing given the current potential options, but thank you for the suggestion! Vegas would be a lot of fun.
Sadly, I read Spring Mountain and think Trial Mountain from Gran Turismo.

NSXPO 2019 is in Washington DC, yes. You are correct. They're planning on Summit Point for their track event.
The NSXPO partnership has helped out both groups. In particular, it's offset the financial risk for both clubs. We've learned a few things regarding social events from it. In return, NSXPO benefited from our track logistics experience. 2017 had roughly 200 cars on track between the two groups. I don't think either group has ever had that kind of turnout for the track event.
With that said, we did not initially agree nor offer to partner in 2019. That's nothing against NSXCA, and it's still possible that we will partner up in some way this year or another year down the road. When I say we planned on taking some time off, including the probability of taking 2019 off entirely, well, we all agreed it was healthy break time.
However, some interesting options have popped up recently. We'll see if scheduling, logistics, and financial support work out. That's all I'll say for now.

I’m really hoping an event happens this year. I missed out on 16, 17 and 18 due to personal commitments and would love to be able get back in gear with you fine folks.

I met one of the Honda Execs (by surprise) at my local dealership this last Friday afternoon when picking up my CTR after the latest round of installs, and mentioned the above expo stuff in passing while saying how much fun Road America was with my new caR back in '17.jayhaire wrote: ↑Sat Feb 23, 2019 7:34 pm NSXPO 2019 is in Washington DC, yes.
