Was able to test voltage at the post and it was fluctuating rapidly from 11 to 14 so looks like the alt is toast. Thankfully it doesnt appear to be a wiring issue.
WHAT A FREAKING PITA REMOVING THE ALT!!! It had been a while since I removed one so forgot how much it sucked. I tried the method in the Helms (posted above) and there was no way it was coming out. I tried every angle known to man and of course scratched up everything in the process. It got close but the MC and FPR were both in the way. So I had to loosen up the MC and flex it to the side, and remove the FPR. Even then it barely made it and hopefully I didnt bend the MC lines too much. I looked about doing it from underneath but there was no way that was going to work without completely removing the half shaft.
Anyway its out and the new alt should be here Monday.
Special thanks to Kevin (DC231) for the assist via text!

Kevin is cool af and he is also very knowledgeable. Awesome community member. Glad you got it sorted out. On a side note. Don't ever rule out a new battery. A bad cell can create some wonky symptoms. The hardest thing I had a problem with was getting the tensioner bolt for the ac everything was to wide to fit.
