Beautiful. It's always fun to reassemble. It's exciting to start seeing the future finished product.

Beautiful fresh zinc!! Congrats on getting to the reassembly stage as that is both frustrating and full-filling at the same time.

Hey guys!

So last week was a bit of a bust. Powder coating didnt make it back to us in time, so we took a bunch of time cleaning the garage and preparing stuff for the next session. We made a list of parts still needed for re-assembly and I think I need to pull a heist Italian job style. :moneyburn: :moneyburn: :moneyburn: We also continued sanding down all the dashboard bars and are at the point of just sending them to be bead/sand blasted instead. It's just SO time consuming and we will never be able to get it as good as a sandblast will. Maybe I just bite the bullet and buy a box for at home...

However, for this week, all parts are back from powder coat and BOY OH BOY do they look AMAZING. I'll post up some pictures in a bit... or maybe I wait until Thursday morning when they are all IN THE CARRRRRRRR.....

Thanks for the support guys. I have to have heR rolling by June 4th so she can go to get heR body all touched up and beautified. TIME TO GET TO WORK!! LOL

Stay tuned for an update Thursday!

So now that everything is back from powdercoat, I need to get all the bushings and small stuff ordered to finish this front suspension out.  Totally forgot to order the bushings so we can press them in and mount everything up.

So for now we got the subframe all mounted up with some shiney zinc bolts, and the rear brake guards. Hoping to get bushings and parts ordered today or tomorrow so I can be ready for next week. We shall see!! Check it out guys and more incoming soon!!

Thanks guys!!! So like last time, we got too excited with how everything was looking as it's coming together and couldn't help ourselves. I ordered a bunch of parts of Thursday to finish up the front suspension and it all but a few parts came in on Saturday. So Saturday night the wife had friends from out of town over...... WHICH MEANT IT'S GARAGE TIME FOR ME...

Brand new re-manufactured steering rack, new tie rods, new ball joints, new bushings in all the arms, and of course a bunch of gooooollldddddddd!!! :o  :o

She will be back on the ground and ready for the body shop in no time.

What are your guys thoughts on clear coating everything under the car? All the powdercoat and zinc bolts... I do live in NY and although this will never see a bad weather day, oxidation is still a present possibility no matter where it is (except a bubble)... Still some thinking to do on that one, and also need to start really looking into these brake lines....
