Most hardware are pennies on the dollar. Aside from maybe the hardware I ordered today for the front suspension, that stuff was expensive!

I thought the same. Maybe someone just identified the sensor as being different hence the different style bracket.

Yours has a purple decal I believe and black plug. The 98 has a grey plug and a blue decal. You can see it somewhere in this thread I posted with the usdm bracket next to the ukdm version.

Yes, I remember early on in your thread you were going through the trials and tribulations of finding the correct one. I believe Mike sold you yours, no?

Hopefully once all these bigger items are out of the way I can focus on the little stuff like that. I want this damn bumper back on already! And I just ordered two new to me OEM front struts since one was blown.

Kevin brokered it and I worked it into the cabin harness purchase. I paid a Mike but I never talked to him.

Looks like a ukdm bracket and solenoid. Was your harness modified to accept the newer style solenoid and black connector plug? Should be old style solenoid still on 98s with gray connector plug from harness. Stock oem usdm bracket mounts higher to the right of where your vin is stamped and is a black L shaped bracket.

Nice car btw and can appreciate what you’re doing!! Also update on AC center vent, shipping from japan late July and is on order. Not Discontinued! I think we tricked the system guys

Good eye. Yes, that is indeed a ukdm sensor (I removed the ukdm bracket thinking I would be able to find a USDM one. Silly me) The reason that it plugs up to my harness is because I actually have an 01 engine harness as well (all came from the same 01 donor ITR with engine)

My plans are to find a 98 ITR engine harness as well as the correct evap solenoid and bracket one day.

In the meantime, here’s some more pretty new parts to install.

I am willing to possibly trade you engine harnesses depending on the condition of yours. Mine is in excellent condition and is not modified in any way. Can be win win for both of us hopefully.

I checked with Acura today on the ac vent. The system has an eta arrival in the states of July 1. That is to the warehouse. Depends on what facility it arrives at then on to your local dealership . My dealership has a rush on my order.

I am not doing any hardware unless I see a correction like you pointed out with your strut bar fasteners. I have plenty of the zinc bolts. Dc2 productions replicated a zinc on his build. Super nice! My hatch had the silver hardware supplied when I tried my first restoration. The silver bolts weren't my thing. If you want some of the zinc ones check behind Acura and Honda dashes of our vintage for matching ones.
