Verbal Update: Alarm is in w/ remote start! Yeeeeee ....I've reached out to a local tuner Daniel Butler, to see if he can tune the car friday or saturday. I'll do some pre flight checks before then, and hopefully get an alignment.
While i had some wiring to do, i figured it would be a good opportunity to modernize the car a bit, so I ordered an s2k push start button. This was the cheap ebay UK kit. Once it arrived, I noticed the quality was a bit different, so I just swapped the motherboard into a USDM housing.

what a moment to savor........as the car transforms, I realize the value of time and the portion I've wasted. The finale work was always gonna be a bit challenging, not so much physical, but mental. Clearly, that struggle was real. Knowing it sat for years, just a few days away from completion, has me reflecting on all of it. It's bittersweet, as I know once it's done, I'll still pursue selling it. In my "3 car" restriction imposed by the wife, it's just not one of the three. The good news? I can enjoy it until it sells.
Things im looking for:
ISO/WTB - PFA
- Lower radio cubby with brackets
- Faux CF climate control bezel with buttons
- Steering column covers upper & lower
- Driver checkered floor mat GSR/ITR
- Fog light bracket or a set of fogs

HMotorsOnline.com shows a 1997 spec Type R climate control unit for $295.00. I don't know if there's a difference between the 1997 and the 00-01 unit. Might be worth checking into. Hope it helps.

Driver AC vent found, gents! It was listed in an older but still recent social media fs post, advertised as an RHD vent. I skipped over this listing multiple times haha... but as I kept searching for parts, it kept popping up. One night, I decided to take a closer look at all the sellers items and noticed the vent was actually LHD. Lucky me!

Unfortunately, when we met up, many of his other items weren’t in the pictured condition, they had been damaged while in storage.
although the vent was missing a blade, I purchased it anyway. I felt up for the challenge.

Salvaged a vent I had in the garage, its attachment point was broken off, making it the perfect donor.....and voila

as of recently, I've purchased a few things. A member shot me some pics of door cups, which I think may be cleaner than what I have, I am awaiting pics of his column cover, door handle bezels, armrest console, mirror covers and glovebox before we lock in a deal.
found a used damaged fog light on ebay, which had the necessary brackets.
If anyone can help reproduce them I'd love to work with you on that. Also, if anyone wants in on the reproduction please let me know.
