Re: Some ITR registry stats
I know I added mine when I got my R 3 years ago. Would love to see the other one!

Same here, although I might be a little rusty. Knowing my luck, the loop won't stop, ha.coolhandluke wrote: ↑Wed Feb 21, 2018 6:22 pm I would be willing to help if we can script the process.

Re: Some ITR registry stats
For what it's worth, I contacted Honda in Torrance to inquire about how many dark violet pearl GSRs were produced and informed me they do not have this information.cheezthis wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2018 9:44 pm I need to re-visit that original project. At the time, I thought it was pulling from the Acura Owner's Link to count models sold each year as well as color.
I suppose it's possible for someone with an unlimited carfax account (dealer) to do this, but it might raise a flag.
I do not think AHM has that info. If they did, they probably would not share it with us.
I still find it weird that this type of data isn't available from the manufacturer.

Re: Some ITR registry stats
I contacted Honda Canada a couple years ago and asked how many 2001 CDM ITR were sold. They let me know 185 were retailed in Canada. Took about 2 months of email chasing to get the number which was an excerpt from a spreadsheet.

AHM definitely has that corporate wall with release that kind of information. If any of them are reading this (that I do not already know) and want to help us out, please contact me.
Re: Some ITR registry stats
I think many of us would love to know this info and finally get accurate info on US production numbers. Its well known at this point that many badge numbers were left out or skipped.
I can say from my personal experience working in dealerships over the years, that info is 100% known by the manufacturer. They do not build cars without having every detail laid out before production, color, options etc.. But this is certainly not public info for whatever reason. Im wondering in the case of say Mopar brand, and their run of muscle cars in the 70s, how long it took for them to release production info and how they went about it?

Re: Some ITR registry stats
Yeah, you'd hope it is recorded. I have been told they are not recording the badge numbers for the FK8 CTR at the factory. Maybe they are elsewhere, and we do not know about it?
We do have access, thanks to some great people at AHM, to a limited amount of ITR counts, but it is not complete.
