Also does this book add more info about these cars than what someone would already know from pissing around on Honda forums for 15 years?

And yeah, it's a cool book. :D
I had no idea this book was self-published, that is really impressive.

I concur, the book is awesome. I own a copy myself. For any Type R fan, it could be worth the coin.

Value is relative, but the high-quality photos, interviews (with designers, etc.), and diagrams are fun. I'm looking at my copy now and it is putting a smile on my face.

I wouldn't see it myself as purely for the knowledge/information value. But rather it's so cool because it's a Type R book.

I am waiting on mine. Lionel emailed me and let me know he would be shipping mine this week as he was out of town . Then asked me what type R model was my favorite. I responded with dc2 or ek9 . He then told me he was sending something nice for an ek9. 8-) . That was really nice of him and it was unsolicited. No clue what it is but I am looking forward to it. I thanked him for writing the book.

I got mine from King. Excellent quality and cool that someone would have the initiative to do this on their own. Cool that they are numbered as well. A must-have for any ITR enthusiast.

He wasn't able to denote that the red 2001 seats were a Canadian market item only as he stated that it was a North American option. There were a few other little tidbits of info that were not 100% accurate but since he was speaking from the European side of things it is totally understandable.

With shipping it/mine seems like it would be just a little more than from King.
... ordered after just reading the first few posts, before I saw that the book was available from King Motorsports as well.

Hopefully I can make it to Thunderhill. Ed

He emailed me and asked what my favorite type R was besides a fk8. My response was either dc2 or ek9. He then told me he would have something nice with ek9 as a gift. I am guessing maybe he has other versions with different cars. I am not quite sure why I got one but I love it. I didn't know they were numbered until I read it on here. Did he sign all of them too ?
