New question:

Let's say i rent a dream car... what's the best use of 675 miles in the california area if i pick it up at SFO? I am thinking a drive down to Laguna or somewhere south and then driving up Pacific Highway 1 to Willows, CA... thoughts?

Driving tips:
-Drive south down 1 to Rennsport @ Laguna Seca (that's where I'm going after Expo)
-Skyline drive in the foothills of of Woodside
-Drive south to Mt. Tam, there is an hour loop worth your time

We could incorporate several/all throughout the weekend. Several aim to visit Russian River/Henhouse/Lagunitas on the Tuesday prior, which could allow a Mt. Tam cruise. Post-Expo, we are coordinating a scenic cruise south, which is on the way to Monterrey for Rennsport.

Arrive Saturday 9/22 in afternoon/evening -> pick up rental ride & visit family in Livermore, CA; possibly crash there.
Sunday 9/23 - Possibly meet up w/ Sander; tool around San Fran on foot; crash at Conley's
Monday 9/24 - Hiking/beach day; thinking Muir Beach/Muir woods national monument; pelican inn for food; possibly solo unless other folks are interested... thinking the M2 over the M4 now due to mileage limits; crash w/ Conley
Tuesday 9/25 - Pre-expo shenanigans -> Mt. Tam + brewery tour, but spread out so we can drive or car pool so we can drink in succession; be available to pick Jay up from airport. crash @ expo hotel
Wednesday 9/26 - Expo Track Day 1; crash @ expo hotel
Thursday 9/27 - Expo Track Day 2; crash @ expo hotel
Friday 9/28 - Become a wine-o w/ Jay & TeamLazy in Napa Valley; need place to crash
Saturday 9/29 - Rennsport Reunion @ Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca; Route south along Rt. 1.; need place to crash or drive back to Sonoma.
Sunday 9/30 - return car; fly home

Is anyone else flying in and want to join for any of the parts of my pre/post expo stuff as a passenger?
