Well I guess I'm in. Just paid for both. Probably bringing the stupid car so Jeff doesn't smash a bottle over my head.
Excellent, let's plan for dinner Wednesday night. I(we) would appreciate any local restaurant or brewery recommendations. I'm looking forward to spending time in Watkins Glen area again.hondacbx wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2019 8:36 pm I can make the Glen on Wed. afternoon & Seneca Lodge for dinner & a few drinks , Leaving for Mid Ohio Thur. Thanks for the heads up. I have never tracked with Chin before, aggressive group or calm? Would like to finally start tracking again. Even if I don't make it let me know when you are in Charlotte so we can meet up. Which shop you taking it too?coolhandluke wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 8:55 pm I am going to try and arrive in Greenville Thursday to grab the car. I will get the car corner-balanced and aligned in Charlotte, then roll to Raleigh.
Come on out.hootrscootr wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2019 6:01 am I might be able to make it to VIR as a spectator. Let me see if I can pull some strings
I don't believe Chin charges spectator fees. Hotels are TBD. Several have joined recently shifting my plans.hootrscootr wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2019 6:02 am Is there a spectator charge? Where is everyone staying at for VIR?
Chin drivers are higher quality. Their event is a premium over typical events, but with a focus on track time. The result is a much faster pace in all groups with more experienced drivers. The upper groups may fit your "aggressive" description, ie, fast, but not aggressive in drive style.
