Type R Expo 19 - Official Discussion and Status
Re: Type R Expo 19 - Official Discussion and Status
An ITR gathering at the Honda Heritage Center would be great as well as a tour of the factory.

Aww, was hoping for 19 consecutive years of Expo. We could do a "mini" one at Road Atlanta, while planning a bigger one at Mid Ohio in 2020 with the Heritage Center and the Performance Manufacturing Center as well! That'd be a cool 20th Expo.

We can count 18 East and West and stay on count for 20.
I wanted to have a final update today, but that will happen next week instead.
We've received a lot of great feedback. In fact, we'll try to get an online survey out soon to gauge a few interest items and ideas out soon as well.

I'm game for all the choices. Visiting the Honda Heritage Center or the AHM/ HPD would be an incredible once in a lifetime experience, def on my bucket list. So I'm game for either events plus maybe a Mid-Ohio day squeezed in would be cool. Gingerman is always a blast and still have yet to track Road Atlanta so would also be interested in that as well. But the timeline doesn't work this year for everyone I totally understand, can't wait to catch up with you guys next year.

UPDATE 7/28/19
Earlier this week, an email went out discussing two items:
- Survey headed to everyone soon regarding Type R Expo and related events. Your input will help immensely -- thank you!
- NSXPO 2019 has invited all Honda / Acura models in our group to join them for their HPDE portion of NSXPO 2019. If you need details on how to register, let us know. Please note, this is not Type R Expo. However, we're happy to help our friends at NSXCA and have collaborated with them successfully many times. Please support them at Summit Point this Oct.

NSX Club sent out a "similar" survey a couple weeks ago ...
BTW -- looks like I'll be missing the DC/Summit Point event in Oct. < shrug >
That being said, my CTR IS getting worked on ... and should be track ready in a few weeks or earlier.
P.S. I'm 60 today!
So, GET OFF MY LAWN hahaha
