And what's the current status? I could take this off OP's hands if needed. :D

Mike hasn't posted in a while but this car is safe and remains under his upmost care.

My apologies for being MIA over the last few years, it's not for a lack of interest or anything of the sort.

In mid-2019, I needed to make some pretty big life decisions, one of which involved relocating to Washington state (Portland/Vancouver area) from the Bay Area (San Jose, California). That move involved acquiring a piece of property that not only met my needs at the time, but would allow me to do many more things in the future... things that involve these very cars. Anyhow, COVID happened and next thing you know it's 2023. Over the last two years I've been playing catch up on my property so cars and racing has been put on hold. The good news is that I'm in the process of building my next shop, all 12,000 sq/ft which will be the home base for my race cars and car collection. The county has been a nightmare, so what was supposed to be a relatively quick process has turned into multi-year effort and will likely span another 3-5yrs before it's finished. I'm happy to share the build progress on that (sort of car/race car related).

Back to the cars. As Ryan stated, the cars are still of course in my possession and are safe and secure. Sadly I haven't raced the yellow Speedvision car since mid-2017 and the Belgian Procar/24hr Spa car since the Type R Expo in late 2018. The other race car, #717, is still in several pieces and will be a longer term project. Same with two other factory "body in white" chassis that I have stored away.

And while I haven't "tracked" the race cars recently, I do regularly start them up, run them on the dyno and ensure everything is being preserved accordingly.

That's sounds like one heck of a shop you're building. I'm also building a shop, not quite as big. I'd love to stay tuned on your shop progress.

I'd love to hear about yours as well. Here's the proposed floorplan for mine:

The car shop area will be ~4800 sq/ft (contains six 4-post storage lifts, 1 in-ground lift, and 1-two post lift (or 4-post alignment rack)
The gym will be ~ 1600 sq/ft (will have all the essential free weights and machines for powerlifting
The trailer and heavy equipment area will be ~2400 sq/ft
The storage & machining area will be ~1000 sq/ft
The bathroom, equipment room, and entryway will be ~500 sq/ft
The outside patio/lean-to will be ~1700 sq/ft
