I just replaced mine using the part numbers off an oem parts site/dealer direct. The new bolts I put on the ABS bracket were definitely not the same as what I took out.

The ones that came for the bottom I used for the side since it had the large washers and used the smaller ones on the bottom as you did.

What I would like to have done was find a local place to do the zinc plating but there isn't one.

This is what the dealer provides, I can't say if they are the same as the original in terms of shape and size.

Looking good in here! Will I see you Sunday at Bridgewater?

Yes stin in correct with the bolts. I have the part numbers for the correct hardware in my thread. But like Stin received, I ordered all 3, 2 of which came silver and one semi yellow zinc.

So since the BNIB harness I was going to buy sold the day before I went to purchase, I need to clean up one of the OBD2a harness I have. Years of dirt and grime had the harness looking tired, so I peeled all of the electrical tape off where it was covering any wires and cleaned up all the plugs. Still going to do a final cleaning on each plug once I get some better cleaning tools, but she is all taped back up and clean again. Should look pretty spiffy once it's on the engine and back in the caR!

I also started with the firewall harnesses cleaning them up, re-taping and checking each connection. I think once I get them all cleaned up I'm going to dab them all with some dielectric grease so everything is nice nice. :D

Harness looks great Dan.

What are you doing with the other OBD2a ITR harness? I’m in need.

Thank you sir! I'm keeping the others I have. I already sold one and regretted it as soon as I left the post office. LOL

Thanks m8

It wasn't as bad as I thought tbh. Plus this is def a visibly rewarding task so once I got going, I was in the zone!

What did you use to clean everything on that harness? That is a beautiful sight . Where was the new harness for sale?

Thanks! I took a good 10 mins and just looked at it myself when I was all done. LOL... I sprayed brake cleaner on a rag and wiped down the outsides of the plugs and connections. Then used a soft bristle brush to clean the outsides of the plugs. I still need to go back and do a "final" cleaning and then a touch of dielectric grease before install but was enough to re-tape everything else for now.

I peeled all the old tape off, gave a cleaning to what was underneath with some simple green spray and a rag, and then retaped nice nice. :D

The BNIB harness was for sale from a individual parts dealer on Instagram. Was posted for over a month, and the day I go to send payment he tells me he just sold it the night prior. I was so upset.  Partially because there was no reason to not buy it when it was listed for sale. I was having trouble justifying the price, ( :moneyburn: ) but now I'm kicking myself in the d!ck. All good though! It will be just as good when I'm done, it will just have a faded label tag instead of brand new. :(
