She's all set for Laguna Seca Tomorrow
Rock on! I can offer tips via text if there are any questions. I will advise to watch the inner curb at turn 6. There is a dip, but if you go too deep, that curb will bend a wheel.

I appreciate all that you do!! Seriously.
Track day was a blast! First time running this track and with this car but managed a best lap time of 1:53. Unfortunately on the last session, got some engine knock and it seems the bottom end might be toast.
I have had this same K20A since 09 and it's seen countless street races and track days, so it definitely held its own for 11 years. Hoping to come out faster next time around. Thinking a k24 bottom end if the head is still in good shape.

Which baffled oil pan were you running? Bummer, that's such a gut check. I know an engine builder near you with significant k-series experience if helpful.

Disassembly begins! Time to prep for the K24 block.
The plan is to pull the swap out and send the head to get inspected and resurfaced. If all checks out, I will be replacing the supertech dual valve springs with a new set (I've had them since 2009 and seems like a good time to replace them).
Got a few things ordered for the motor build so I will update as they come in.

What's your plan for the internals?
