The gaskets are easy they have these nipples to align. They also have a piece of adhesive near the bumper grommets. Clean well.

About to finish the bumper install after waiting on parts. What do I find ? The body shop didn't install the oem grommet for fender that I supplied them. So from my evaluation they stole every clip I provided now from looking and replacing the windshield clips and one molding that took flight. I am now about one grommet from finishing the project. Although after I have installed the bumper, I am going under from the fender liner .

I got tired of using a key to open the car. This car isn't used as a daily and isn't left alone , I recommend something better for security if you drive your car. This is for oem keyless entry on the nine 8 .

Chase Acura responded to acklander's thread. I sent him a message asking for the instructions for the installation of the system so I could verify if I had everything still. I am missing a few items but it's complete to work. So I ordered the fob finally. Now here is what I am posting this for . The Acura fob is $64.xx with tax . I located a pair of 97-98 civic fobs for $1.50 more and the fob programmed to the Acura.

Here is the fobs

The top and second will work on the 98 . The third has 2 buttons and is for a 99 civic. These won't work on the 98 . Maybe they will on the later years? The four and five are the existing fobs I have. The 97 original fob is slightly thinner than the other fobs but not the new one. The new one was more similar to the 2000 civic version in terms of size.

I bought the fobs new. The Acura one from Acura. I bought the Honda fobs online because the guy at Honda that would know if the Honda ones came on pairs never called me back. The Honda part number is a accessory which could be the reason why you get two. The keyless entry and security system was already in the car. I have partial records and the manual is in the Acura case that came with these cars . I spotted the harness and one of the wires that was marked keyless entry with a Honda part number so I knew some of it was there. It's actually a security system not just keyless. I don't have the the disarm switch or the led so I definitely wanted two remotes .

The wipers looked terrible. I tried the sem paint everyone swears by . It wasn't right imo. So I picked up these . I was worried about the g in the superseded part

q number. My civic had some dumb thing attached to the g replacement. It worked out well. Take note that the wipers match the cowl perfectly.

I found this to be the cause of my leak in my civic. I think the integra has these as well.
