I really hope they don't make a hybrid version. Otherwise it will be a similar disappointment as the new nsx was imo.

I agree with the weight concerns. The key will be how the car feels to drive and handles. A manual will be key for enthusiasts like myself.
The CR-Z was the first go-kart handling car Honda had released in decades, but I agree it was underwhelming in power.
I hope the recent push in the industry back towards double wishbone suspension is a trend Honda continues. The TLX Type S and Porsche GT3 are examples.

Hmm looks more like a traditional coupe, ala, a modern Prelude...

That's not an official image so can be ignored. However i hope it's a lot less GT looking than that

The Integra was always a entry level model into Acura. It really straddled the line between Honda and acura. I think they tried really hard to keep it relevant in the USA by always making the civic one step behind. (Look at everything up ep3/dc5.)Removing the civic coupe was a good decision between both brands as a whole. Honestly, never really cared for the coupes styling. Hopefully a manual is in the works since it will be made here where next gen CTR/Si will be. I’m guess the 1.5t or the civic sports K20 will be the base engine.

I kind of like the GT look.
I just hope they have a more smoother, mature design compared to what happened with the CTR.

Subscribed... and the fact that Honda is pulling out of F1 in a few years to focus on all electric stuff tells me that there will most likely be a hybrid variant... but a performance hybrid variant, if they can fit it and still provide that visceral showroom stock track car feel...

If those mules and renderings above are real, they’ll be overheating in two laps if it’s the CTR engine.
