Did you pick these up off of Yahoo Auctions? I saw a set of red calipers on there not too long ago and thought about bidding, think they ended up with only one bid around $900 USD. Build is definitely coming along nicely.
Yup these are them!

What color are you going to repaint the car?
I've narrowed it down to keeping it the cement grey color or going VSM. still up in the air haha.

Did you take it to his shop for installation?

I bought the cage from a local distributor of his and had a local fab guy weld it in. Happy with the results!

Haven't updated in awhile....
So I decided to not keep the car the Cement grey color and instead will be painted VSM (Vogue Silver Metallic, which was an option for the JDM ITR). No progess from the shop yet as they haven't done much to it.
Also picked up a new set of wheels and will be selling off the 16x8 Mugen MF10's if anyone is interested.
16x8 +33 Volk TE37 AKA (TE16)

What are your intended use(s) for the car? The rollbar brings up questions.
I have a soft spot for VSM and MR, due to never getting those colors domestically.

Plans are to use the car for a few track days a year (for fun moreso than competition) and just drive it around to a few local meets. I normally join the Fiat club every year at thunder hill as their regulations are very loose and I've done some HFF and Vtec Club events in the past

Congrats on the first gen TE37's. Chris @ DB8 Motorsports I assume? I finally found a set in bronze earlier this year after searching for nearly a decade. A timeless and amazing design.

I was curious if aimed to track the car. The rollbar is missing the diagonal to protect the driver in a rollover. I would consider adding it prior to paint. One may opt to redo the harness bar, which would be the main snag, due to the diagonal being load bearing.
I typically run with NCRC and SpeedSF, but I jump in random events if affordable.

Dude you're a life saver! I'll talk to my fab guy and see what he can do. Car hasn't been touched since I dropped it off for paint and it might have been a blessing in disguise. I ran with ncrc once actually, was a well put together track day. Hope to join in some next year
