The jumper harness I purchased from locash racing in 2003 communicates. I believe it was made by kenji I could be wrong. I think it's one or two wires to add if you get a jumper without the wiring. With the EPA raid on tuners I wouldn't be surprised if the obd port wiring is left out to avoid legal problems on new jumpers.

Thanks everyone. Hopefully I’ll find a 98 harness soon enough. In the meantime...

I bought the Circuit Werx rears to match. I hear they’re great.

Nice little eBay find this morning. I won’t be paying $1500 for an ITR one so this will do...

Nice pickup, those are still really reasonable in cost.

Mine somehow got damaged in the lower section and has this really weird sticky substance on it 6 months after I bought mine. Just odd

Came home to a care package from iRunOEM. One side is now discontinued and he had some NOS laying around. Kudos to him and his dealership. Places like that and AutoFair Honda really are a contribution to the community. Maybe Honda will wake up sooner or later.

Utilized my day off to head out and pickup my brakes from Acura today. Ended up going with OEM front pads, rotors and RF caliper. The LF seeing both CRV and ITR were discontinued, I went with an Autozone OEM reman.

After months of searching day in and day out for OEM ITR floor mats and trunk mats I came upon this. A practically brand new OEM 98 optional trunk mat. Not of the ITR variety but still period correct and sure as hell nice! This thing was a steal at $100!!

Now I’m still in the market for a set of nice checkered mats but in the meantime I found myself another deal. BNIB set of discontinued checkered GSR mats. I’ll more than likely use those in replacement of the EDM accessory mats I currently have. I’ll get some pics up when those arrive next week.

Until then, I’m waiting for my bumper to come back from paint so we can start assembling the car again. I hate seeing her like this Image

Surprisingly the car was missing more than I’d thought after removing and selling the ukdm bumper. Things such as crash support, bumper foam and little odds and ends all needed to be purchased. I wanted to never have to go behind here again.

Still awaiting my left front caliper as well as new (to me) OEM shocks to be installed. Kind of a lot but we’re so close to driving!

congrats on getting the itr. i know you have been hunting for a long time.

and with all these oem parts you must have some coin in the oem resto. i didnt see it mentioned directly, but there was a comment about doing moldings after paint? are you planning on painting it?

Thank you! It’s definitely been a long road coming. Yes, that is the plan. I’m trying to pickup the rear quarter windows, roof moldings and door sashes before they’re discontinued. I’d like to get a few drives in before I tear it down like that though but as long as I have the moldings I won’t rush into the paint.

In the meantime, the engine bay is back to 98% factory function. Awaiting a charcoal canister and OEM oil cap then just a good cleaning.
