If you do use/buy the solution finish trim restoring product wear gloves!!! It will stain you hands since it has charcoal in it.
I use paper towels to apply it vs a micro fiber towel since I can just throw away the paper towel and not mess up my micro fiber towels.

I will reply to the detailing thread this weekend with this job I did on the engine bay and some of the other products I have and use.

I'm currently waiting on some parts from mother Acura in the mail.
Ah thank you for the pro tip, I didn't think about that aspect. I purchased the trim product but I have yet to apply.

I did a few things over the last couple of evenings.

1)replaced the squeaky hawk HP + pads and auto zone rotors with oem pads and centric rotors.

2)swapped out the old cap, rotor, and plug wires with new oem.

3) worked some more on replacing engine bay misc bolts and painting some silver metal brackets.

I am going to tackle the front bumper top metal bracket with a new oem piece and screws next

That’s all for now.

*A little update*
I did something dumb this evening and need a little help.
I was starting the process of replacing the rear trunk actuator. I pulled out the actuator and put in on the bench took it apart revealing the little spring activated plastic piece was broken inside. from there I decided to be done for the evening and not thinking went over and closed the trunk. I immediately said "oh $HIT" and I can not open the trunk. The key doesn't work. Im guessing the rods have to be connected to something to open the latch.

The cover is still off the back of the trunk so I have access by crawling in though the front of the car. My question is which of the rods do I need to tug on to "pop " the trunk?

thanks
