I restored a 2nd hand ground strap and it was easy. Not sure how to link back to it but look under my post on looking for a nib oem ground strap and it should be in there. Post up your before and after results.

x2. This looks like heavy labor in the heat. The results look fun though. I can't wait to see the lift in place.

caR is still at the body shop. It's tucked away in an enclosed trailer for the time being. We had 2 bad storms roll through, 50+mph winds and hail in some places so he is slammed right now with jobs. I'm in no rush at this point so I told him take your time.

In the meantime I have been able to put in a lot of hours on the garage renovation and its coming along great! Can't wait to get both giRls in here! I'm no contractor. Nor an electrician. I def suck at sheetrock. But I can roll a mop on a wall to change the color like no mans business!

Stay tuned, more updates to come. Hoping he gets his paws on the caR starting sometime next week. Hope to have an update then.

8-)

Your garage is turning into an impressive "man cave." I echo your comments around hanging sheetrock- never again. Keep up the work! The nice thing about sheetrock + paint is it leaves plenty of wall space for wall art. When I get a garage again I have four RTR posters, 2x RTR heritage prints, 97 dealer poster, among other memorabilia to hang.

SO...... no update on the '97 as of yet. Still at the shop waiting to get glass and panels done..... BUT I have been working a bit on getting heR bed ready for when she returns home. For now the PY is flyin solo.
