Mr.too sexy beard lmao it was a $100 each window. I watched and even using their correct tools the windows didn't want to come out easily, I see why acklander had problems. Well worth the money in my opinion.

No and I thought I would have to as well.

100 each sounds totally fair. Both quarter glasses on my 97 broke when I pulled them but I had no plan on reusing them so I wasn't very easy on them. It was definitely a PITA and I would never do it again myself for sure.

I'm impressed. I had never seen someone proactively replace these pieces. I myself have long since wanted to, but I was waiting to repaint the car.

The car looks great, kudos!

Mine didn't break on the glass but the plastic clips that go into the body didn't survive. It's going to suck when these go discontinued for restoration or repairs. I don't think those can come out without breaking and there is no access to them after they cut the glue. Image

Thank you! I am trying to do what I can before everything is discontinued. I never had plans to paint the car so I don't have a reason to store them. My lady wanted them out and I didn't want them broken storing them. It's interesting how you said that. My moldings were in pretty good shape. When they came out the glass guy showed me tooling marks from a previous removal on the passenger side . He said those were from older obsolete removal tools . What he used had a fiber wire for cutting the glue. I had the driver removed before so I knew about that side being out. They also broke the clips for the body before they glued it back in . The passenger clips were still intact. Leads me to believe they were replaced. I don't have anything from my research why they were out or with what owner but they were out at some time. In addition the left and right seals that go behind the window were on the wrong sides. I am glad I did it . Whoever did the passenger side they didn't put primer . So glad it didn't rust.

Mr. Spoonfed was the devil on my shoulder recently with a picture. I didn't want to get my hopes up, but I think at least a few of us may have saved it for a second or so . ImageImage

Oh my garsh the incredibly elusive non discontinued part has finally arrived. The first went missing and was never delivered to Acura. They sent a second. Guess what happened?
They sent the second one. The first five digits and the last three of the part number matched. Instead of the middle three digits being a st7 the part they delivered was a t04 . ImageImage
