She is home! Finally!
Just a quick clean inside for now to see what we are working with, and I think we are in good shape!!

Looks fantastic! It makes me happy to see a car neglected for so long put back together properly!
How much time did you put into the interior? Shampoo the carpet?
Is thst exactly how the interior was when you got it.....the parts missing.
Are the doors original to the car?

All I did so far on interior was vacuum! I plan to shampoo and deep clean this weekend.
Interior was no seats, but otherwise what you see was what came with heR. Cluster and badge stayed with so thats a huge win. Im missing the radio, shifter bezel surround, and cup holder from the dash.
Doors are original to the caR, yes.

Got some shampoo done on the carpet. Looked like someone spilled a whole damn coffee on the carpet under the seat, LOL. Soap was coming up iced mocha latte brown.
(I dont drink coffee, I dont even know if thats a thing
)
Took some time to freshen up the arm rest and badge. I don't think I have shown the tags on this old giRl yet, so here she is.
Was also able to get the door panels cleaned up and loosely mounted. I have to find my window switches before closing up the door panels. Speakers too...
They're up in storage somewhere?...... I hope?
BUT, with these bits back into the interior, and the white wheels up front, we are making progress!! Starting to look like an R again.
Axles, OEM rear trailing arms, new spindles and hubs, and a slew of other suspension goodies should be showing up soon.
Stay tuned

Love it! Rare parts reviving a rare car!
Spilled coffee is very common. I can't tell you how many of my project cars have had the brown shampoo water.
One owner apparently loved coffee and dates. He would throw the date seeds under the seats. Lol!!
He also dealt with a lot of chage for some reason. I found change EVERYWHERE! Even stuck in the door panels. I only knew they were there when I took the door panels off.

The underside on this shell is clean, that is great to see.
You are making quick work! This is fun to follow along the progress.

I think you should buy a jdm spoiler in white to repaint. From your track record you may happen upon a py that you will be kicking your self in the ass for painting the yellow one.
