Almost ready to go for her first trip of a few miles. Got some fluid checks to do, and then a frantic overly triple quadruple check to make sure everything is on order before we go out. It will be a nerve wracking experience. But wheel wells are in and my neutral safety switch came in as well. Got some wrenchin to do in next few nights!

Have been after this piece below for a while after I was shown a picture and told "it's on my neighbors car"... It was offered to me for sale, I paid, then never got it. After months, I figured it was too good to be true and got my $$ refunded. Then month or two later, I get put in contact with someone who is supposedly "going to work on that car this weekend.." Leap of faith, I send out the funds again... and this time...

My father loves meticulous polish projects like this, so I'm going to give it to him and get it back to a perfect mirror finish. I only recall seeing this in a picture in a car mag 15+ years ago.

The OEM wheels are timeless and the fresh paint looks superb. I'm excited for you to simply enjoy driving after years of wrenching.

Got my tailgate struts on, got the little c-clips and cover caps as well. Having the hatch supported as it should be, gave me a chance to clear out the trunk and mount the spare tire. Cleaned up the OEM toolbag and threw it in there. Gotta find the jack.... it's somewhere... lol.

Also got the battery tray affixed with OEM bolts, just need to get an OEM Acura battery to slap in there. Next up is getting interior tightened up. Hoping to buzz through a bunch of that tonight.

Stay tuned!!

She has seen the road! Lots of little kinks and quirks to work out, but I have put around 7-10 miles on heR. Most was just yesterday, July 4th 2022. I took a drive to my parents house and car wash and back home. Def need an alignment, and there are tons of things to double check and tighten and mark with the yellow pen for spec. Sometime soon we will do a cleaning and put some of these badges and decals on heR to make her shine. :D :D

Picture of completed travel to my parents house, the engine bay after fluid checks after the drive, and my lil' man enjoyin the view in his new ride. <3
