I am the king of receiving damaged itr parts apparently. Most have been from Acura. I got a discontinued weatherstripping. One came from Dubai and the other from Japan. They were both damaged with rather well packing. I needed this on my driver door panel and bought a second in case when I found it. The Dubai one was fucked up!

The Japan one had a small bend . It results in a sweet kink trying to correct it. The s or l damaged one is way worse. I don't think I can use the Japan one with my OCD. The other one is almost in my opinion not salvageable .

Amayana did what was right and replaced the order, no questions asked. Japan postal service requested a postal investigation. The damaged Japan one is going back to the post office . Any way I begged them to reinforce the box well to prevent any damage and I also ordered a second one with that replacement.

They packaged it awesome this time. They add added a tube to prevent crushing and thick bubble wrap protection. There wasn't any fragile sticker as I asked but this was better.

What is that some may ask ? This piece lines the door panel and front window. Mine had two of the bend tabs break. Actually I think one was broken and the corner was was weak and broke when I tried to reinstall it. This resulted in the door handle being recessed because the door panel would pull from the weatherstripping . These things were a pain to get but I 100 needed it.

The old one has that butyl glue on it. I think it's been two months and that crap still keeps turning up on something. Nasty stuff!

See the missing tabs? The one on the corner was weak and floppy trying to reinstall the door panel. As soon as it broke the install became a real pain and the final result was the door handle being recessed. Not cool at all.

I hate those pieces. I had issues trying to get the door panel back on b/c of those when I first took mine off a few years ago on the driver side. I was able to get them back on, but it was a pain.

I am dreading the day to take the passenger side off as that door panel hasn't been taken apart yet by me.
