We are close relatives eh?
Not red floormats, just red f/r seats.

I'm not sure. But I have the checkered mats.

Items to consider:
-1997-2000, checkered w/ red stitching floor mats
*1997 didn't have hook ring
-2001, black w/ red stitching floor mats
-A dealer could have thrown in newer or older mats in a sale when new
-A previous owner could have changed mats via USDM/CDM or via different market, ex: EDM

Changed the oil today, switched over to synthetic, mobil 1 5w30.
I noticed some sludge on the spoon magnetic drain plug I have installed, when I drained the oil. I'm hoping it's not an issue, and the synthetic will help clean it up. It would've been due to a long time between oil changes, but sitting a lot.

Mugen oil filter? You fancy!
I typically have something on my magnetic drain plug. Whether it be from high RPM or typical wear and tear from initial cold start, who knows.

Mugen filter indeed, nothing but the best for heR.
That's good to know. Although I've never seen that much sludge or whatever it was. I've done many dc2 oil changes, mostly on my gs-r. But I'm going to be more on point now with the R. I don't drive the ITR that often, so it doesn't see too many miles.

Honest question, is Mugen the best? I used to run HAMP until they went discontinued. I've run OEM Honda the last few years but I know Honda has dropped in quality by changing to a cheaper material.
