Fixed. Type R Expo West throwback pics/thread:

Note, Type R community events have always augmented the yearly event of Type R Expo. Dave-ROR, Opie, voiddweller, and myself, recently did a track weekend at Sebring. Early in my track career Track1 events at CMP hosted by community members in NC, SC, and VA, helped jumpstart my commitment towards tracking multiple times a year. The (FK8) CTR community out west regularly rents Thunderhill or Buttonwillow and rolls ~150x deep, which is awesome.

Just dropping in to say as always that I always appreciate the hard work, dedication and passion everyone in this community puts fourth!
Where and whatever it is, I’ll be there and wish to help in any way I can!

Just to add my enthusiasm...
Expo West would be great for me since I'm in AZ. But would try hard to make it wherever this might happen.

Type R Expo was never limited to a single region. The collective Expo's mission was to highlight incredible tracks for the amazing Type R community. We hosted events from west to east, south to north, despite the tremendous challenges introduced by changing tracks every year.
I always gave huge props to folks from NY driving to SC, or WA driving to VA & SC, or FL driving to WI. The caravan to and from was (almost) half the fun when rolling deep with ~25-50x cars. I credit these folks for the incredible community members I met at Expo ofter the years. Shining examples of wonderful people across many cultures, lines of work, etc., that I enjoyed meeting and later catching up with over a beverage.
When the community decides to plan another Expo, I highly encourage everyone not to have the mindset of "
I'll come out if this is closer next time." I flew and then drove/rode to every Expo 2012-2018, and it was worth it every time.

I drove twice from the west coast to Road America in WI. If I didn't go I wouldn't have gotten this footage!

This is crucial. It was one of my biggest frustrations during the years when people assumed it would:
- be closer next year
- will be around next year
That's a reason I needed a break. So, if we get an Expo Reunion going, we will need support from everywhere and everyone.

Count me in wherever it may be.
In the meantime I'll be hanging out with the NSX crowd at Atlanta Motorsports Park and in Atlanta proper come end of September/Oct 1 (with my black '21 CTR).
BTW the blue '17 "track car" is getting/awaiting a freshly fully built drivetrain and updated suspension this winter, for next year.

Did not know you were going to that, but that's great! I'm trying to attend the track portion at least but have not finalized it.
