Love it! Rare parts reviving a rare car!
Spilled coffee is very common. I can't tell you how many of my project cars have had the brown shampoo water.
One owner apparently loved coffee and dates. He would throw the date seeds under the seats. Lol!!
He also dealt with a lot of chage for some reason. I found change EVERYWHERE! Even stuck in the door panels. I only knew they were there when I took the door panels off.
Thanks!! It looks so gross coming up. LOL

The underside on this shell is clean, that is great to see.
You are making quick work! This is fun to follow along the progress.
Yea shes is in gReat shape. Excited to get it all buttoned up soon!

I think you should buy a jdm spoiler in white to repaint. From your track record you may happen upon a py that you will be kicking your self in the ass for painting the yellow one.
Hahaha
My wife said no more. Stop instigating! LOL
Got some parts together to get swapped out. Nice and new and fresh to get this giRl back on the road!!
Take a look and how bent the driver side lower control arm was. OUCH! Luckily the subframe seems to be in alignment. New control arms and compliance bushing all fit right back into their holes with zero issue.
I took out the original '98 suspension for now, it looks pretty tired and Im unsure of its condition after sitting all this time. Luckily I had a set of Koni Yellows from years back from Eric Kutil (EG Sedan #82 some of you follow) that I figured would be a good fit for this ride for now until shes gets some miles!! I had some minty upper arms, new ball joints, new lower control arms, new axles, new pads and rotors, new Hardrace bushing for front lower sway bar, and the Koni Yellows...
I was also able to get the shift linkage setup, AND SHES GOT GEARS!! WOOOOOOHOOOOO! Would ya look at that! Clean and almost ready to rolll!!!!

So nice! Love the Konis.
Jusy one suggestion, paint the hub section, front and rear, of the brake rotors and the outer portion where th vents are. It will prevent rust.

I second this, one rain season and my rotors rusted at idle

Front lip test fit and stare session. Looks like it will fit this project perfect!
Steering wheel center dug out of the attic to cover up the bare wheel center.
Also worked on the engine bay a bit to start running some of the wiring. Got the ABS unit mounted back up and in place. Engine wire harness pretty much all clipped in. Also started getting the exhaust hung. I have to dig out my starter to get that mounted in, then I have a new slave cylinder and fuel pump on the way.
After we get those things installed, we should be able to crank it over and see if she runs!! Excited to see what the next week or two brings!!
Stay tuned.

Do you need a corner light socket? I have one in my parts stash.

Knocked out some things last night to keep it moving.
Starter installed -
Ran wire harness into final position in engine bay -
Rear T Mount -
Correct hardware for transmission mount -
Changed line from Fuel pump to rail -
(Other one I had on was too short)
Throttle Cable -
Mounted driver fender -
Found a missing bell housing bolt or two on trans. All good now -
#PRTSCAR is coming together nicely.
