The FLP feels great. I am also glad the OEM boot worked with it. Most people I know that have FLP shifters have gutted interior, so I was happy the boot fit. Additionally, people rave about the Hybrid shifter but the Chinese spherical rattled like crazy. However, I would have swapped it out anyway because of the period correct goal.

The shift knob is unique. I got it from a company called Rennstall.

I am trying to get the new garage organized so I can finish out the car. I still need to install tie rods.
Oh nice! I bought 1/5 units from Marcus at Heel Toe a few years ago that were a darker color. It was in my ITR when stolen.

I grew to appreciate FLP when I first drove Jon D's '98 and later Chwalisaurus's EG6 with it. The placement + ability to fine tune to the individual driver's preference = money.

It has felt good so far. Honestly, only have touched first and reverse. Given my new tires, I cannot drive around with my bad alignment. The biggest upgrade to me is no more rattling. That Hybrid shifter's Chinese spherical rattled so bad. :hammer:

It sounds like some Kingpin Machine sphericals are in your future...

Your pics have an old school polaroid vibe, matching the car, I dig.

Clicking play shortly after work ends.

The pictures are actually from a film camera. My buddy, in the e30, takes some film shots at every track day.
