its not too bad to do. My only suggestion is use quality tools. I wish nwp4life was still around because I used donuts build thread as my DIY source. send me a pm, I can give a pretty good walk thru.

Thank you for posting up the new build. I look forward to following updates. There is a local S2K for sale that I'm telling myself not to buy. I really dig the red w/ hard top.

haha, don't do it! Especially, don't track one. They are too fun with even minimal mods.

Hoping to have the integra rolling again tomorrow.
So I ended buying some Konis for the rear. After multiple shock re-builders told me there's nothing I can do. These old JRZs were just deigned too long for some reason. Live and learn I guess. Should have just bought new. But even then, I've heard even new JRZs having design issues in terms of body length, etc. So now I have some fancy wall hangers.

This is the easiest route, and if I need to have these Konis shortened or anything, proparts can do it. This may not be ideal, JRZs front and koni rear, but I just want track time. I am not trying to win a championship or anything....

I've experienced issues with JRZ and another local had incorrect shock links on their NA2 NSX, both out of the box. My issues were:
-Incorrect rear shocks (DC4)
Required: Returning rear shocks and waiting for replacements
-Incorrect spring lengths (5'' vs. 7'')
Required: Replacing springs with Eibach equivalent rates

When I buy again, I will design the setup for my car + driving style + applications through Anze Suspension.

I will do the same when the time comes. I've also worked with Inertia laboratories and had great service.

Mounting some tires on the 15x9s for the integra tomorrow. I'll have the car back on the ground. :thumbup:

Probably the week after, I'll install the konis.

did a little work this weekend. Car is back on the ground, I didn't get any pics tho. Drove around the block and the car needs an alignment bad because I bought some take off nt01s just to do the hff event at lvms. I'll probably just do a toe and go.

mods:
Deka ETX-9 battery
Spal fan

new battery vs oem. I also took the top layer off the oem tray to shave some weight. I may make an aluminum tray down the road, but this works. It just isnt the prettiest.

Wow looking good.
Is the fuel supply line new? I’ve toyed with the idea of losing the OEM banjo but worry I’d have problems since I need to register/pass visual inspections.

Expense the driver behind agm vs lifepo4 or is there something else?
The terminals look really clean but I recently picked up a set of M6 to 3/8” terminal studs from Pegasus that might be worth looking at for lighter direct connections.

Fuel supply has been the same for awhile. California is tricky but I don't see why it wouldn't pass inspection(I really dont know tho?) with a new fuel supply line. Maybe do all black an fittings and use one of those An banjo fittings so you can retain the oem banjo bolt.

As for the battery, it was really a decision based on cost vs weight vs reliability. I found an old thread on RRAX that was discussing batteries and a lot of people recommend the Deka ETX9. It's only 60-70 bucks and weights around 9lbs. Some people had great reliability even without the use of a trickle charger. I bought a trickle charger, terminals, and the battery for only $100 bucks all together thru Amazon. So, I'll keep updating my thread with my experience with this battery. If it any of what I read is true, it should be positive.
