Thompson was GREAT! caR performed without any issues and was fast!! Chased down a lot of higher HP cars, but you could tell some of the drivers weren't experienced. (Poor driving lines and turn inputs)
Had a great battle with a modded S15 chasing him down. After a lap of reeling him in and then pushing him along, I finally got the point by and left him in the rear view. Was a good feeling running into him afterwards and he asked if I was K-swapped.
"No sir. Stock B Series ITR".......
"No way! You're driving the fcuk outta that thing then! Keep it up man!"......
- That was a really good feeling.

A very unusual start to the new year here in New York with 48* degree weather and sunshine. So since I needed to go to the Orange store, I took the Orange caR
I broke one of the lower sway bar links up front, makes a nice little noise on aggressive on/off throttle to remind you its broken.
But other than that, she has been great! Gotta put the pieces together on the C5 block to this JDM one out.
Already have Limerock scheduled for track days in 2024. Going to do an event at NYST and hopefully another at Thompson. Happy New Year to all!

Parts and pieces incoming a plenty!! Had this 2000 C5 block I got from another member here. Had CTR pistons in it when I got it on stock R rods. I had this sent out to Bart (formerly from DP Racing) and had him take care of the bottom end. I got some SCAT H beam rods, and free floating flat top pistons. Put in a zero balanced and micro polished crank and ARP hardware throughout. Jet washed the block and honed the cylinders. Shes looking spicy!!
We have a turbo manifold and turbo. Intercooler and pipes. I need to get injectors and a clutch. I have an ITR head that has TODA valvetrain, stock valves, stock ITR cam. Should rev to 9200 no problem. Going to run 750 or 1000cc injectors and s300.
Tune appointment is on May 2nd with Jeff Evans in Bethel PA. Looking to make 4-500whp max and really make this racecar move. She's overbuilt for that range so hoping to be able to really have some fun with heR.
I remember being 14-15-16 years old and having a library of car videos and links to car websites. I had an entire folder just for turbo ITR's that I would watch over, and over, and over again. SOOOOOOO many memories of watching the needle just burnnning through 9k shifts. Just sounding so mean.
Check back over next month for more updates as we build the engine and get everything ready for the appointment. It's only 6 weekends away. So lots to do to make sure we are 100% good to go before we push this giRl to the max.

never too old to learn. I'd love to hear Barts logic on one aspect of the build seeing it is a cast piston but overall nice and clean. If I understand this right it will be turbo as well?

Yes this will be a turbo engine!
