Long time lurker. When the forums went down this past spring, I didn't have any restore threads to follow and live vicariously through, so I went and picked one up myself. 98-0718 finally checking in.

Have you thrown up a rebuild thread yet? Awesome! I love a good rebuild thread. One day I will get around to collecting photos for a rebuild calendar.

I haven't yet! I'm afraid I'll bore all of you with slow progress compared to some of these rebuilds on here.

Never! I personally enjoy reading and later, going back and re-reading the cumulative updates.

Personal ask, as opportunities arise, take high-res photos. I aim to make a rebuild calendar one day.

Seems like the right time to introduce myself. I’ve been searching for a 98R for the last couple years and right before the site went back up I finally found the one! I’m in the midst of gathering parts to bring it back to its glory days. I’ve been considering a build thread but just haven’t got around to it. I must warn you all, it’s a bit nostalgic Here are the pictures:
