Bernardi, acurapartswarehouse, irunoem, etc don't have 19010-P73-A03 in stock due to being discontinued. The stock radiator in my 97R is leaking at the top plastic tank despite having about 44k miles on it. I've seen 19010-P73-A02 as an alternate part number and was wondering what the difference is between -A02 and -A03. Thanks!

Showa vs. denso units? Just my guess.

Fan mounting shroud mounting locations? Did the shrouds match in part number? I recall with non Type R integras, some models had a different shroud mounting point that I didn't realize on my old automatic.

Automatic DC2/4's had a transmission cooler in the radiator, which would impact fan mounting.

They are all discontinued. A02 and a03 . I also asked Amayana about availability on the jdm unit . They were also discontinued. Super annoying. I am sure the all aluminum radiator keeps water temps down . In my garage it sure seems like it keeps under hood temps up and burning myself on the radiator simply checking on things to me was my reason for removing it. The last time I checked I had a hard time finding an OEM style radiator.

Sucks they're not available. I was hoping to keep it all stock with all Honda parts. Not sure if it's feasible to repair. I haven't really checked the radiator. I just smelled coolant when driving around to charge the battery as I only drive it once or twice a month. Currently considering all aluminum radiator or Koyo's S2028 OE replacement radiator.

They used to repair these . Not sure if they do or how OEM it would look. You are in Az ? My car has no visible leaks but I noticed the smell of coolant on my latest drives . Any links on the koyo replacement? Nippon also lists one . It doesn’t seem to be type R specific.

The OEM radiators are a sandwich of plastic/alunimum/plastic. As the plastic ages, pressure or fluid seeps from the plastic ends, causing the smell or leaks.

There might be OE-style replacements on RockAuto.com/etc., but quality is TBD. An all-aluminum unit (Fluidine/Koyo/etc) is what I would buy for longterm quality. However, if OEM appearance is a concern, even at a potential reduced quality, check out this list from RockAuto by Denso/others:

The Koyo is about $120. I also found a Duralast A1741 OE replacement for $99 at Autozone. The Koyo is a copper radiator. Not sure about the Duralast.

I did the koyo oem replacement on a em1. It doesn’t burn the shit out of me . The top tank and bottom are all metal.
